It’s always a gamble but, it was just in the high 10k ‘s a while back and with all the holiday shopping and stocking of products, I am hoping for a quick surge back to 10k+ . Then I will sell, covert to $$.

whatever bitcoin you buy and keep, be prepared for it to be eventually taxed or wiped.
Not trying to scare anyone but when a government can't tax it they will eventually stop it.
If your only purpose for buying Bitcoin is to buy gear, than i would only buy slightly more than your cost of gear.

You’re not kidding brother. I’m trying to work a deal before the end of the month and make a serious investment. God love Elon Musk. Dude has fought Wall Street for over a decade. Now, he sticks his finger in their eye by buying 1.5 billion, with a B, in Bitcoin.

The new Ethereum update to the blockchain, if approved, will make eth triple the next 24 months.

I know this is an old post, but you brought up volatility. Cardano ADA is getting its own stable coin by September. It will be the first stable coin to NOT be linked to fiat currency. Strictly cryptocurrency. As such, it will not be vulnerable to liquidation events like bitcoin is now.
