Stupid questions

I just started using bitcoin. I use BRD as my wallet. Is this a safe wallet? Also, when a sponsor asks for proof of bitcoin, is this the transaction info? Any info from an experienced crypto user will be very much appreciated for I have no idea how this really works and to use it in a safe way.

Not sure what BRD is but yes, the tx id is your proof you sent BTC.

BRD uses wyre to make transactions if this helps to get some answers on how secure it is to send bitcoin payments.
