I am having no luck getting BTC to work for me today. Read my tale of woe and help me if you can!

So today, I bought $1000 off cash app and transferred it to my Blockchain wallet and everything was hunky dory. But then later, I realized I needed about $80 to get one of the purchases I wanted. So, I went in cash app and bought another $200 of BTC. It said it went through, but after that, when I go to withdrawal, it won't come up with the camera for the QR code and when I click the withdrawal button, the phone vibrates and won't let me withdrawal. I have no idea why.

So, then I look up the Zelle app and start playing around with it, then I realized they removed the sources where you could buy BTC from.

Then I tried to Voyager app recommended from this forum, and it prompted me to log into my Chase app, which I tried to do from this forum, and low and behold I can only request money to that particular phone I have the app installed on.

So, I tried CoinBase and everytime it came up and asked me to authorize a new device, but I did, my IP addresss for IPv6 was different than the one I sent it from. I'm on a LAN, so there should be reason the IP is different, so it won't let me login. I don't know if it wants a static ip or what.

Now, I forgot my CoinMama username and password.

So, NOTHING working for me today. Can someone recommend a legit app or website where you can buy BTC, preferably with a debit card, but if I have to login to my banking app thats fine.

Cash app to Blockchain works well. You got it to block chain so what’s the issue? You need someone else’s wallet code to be able to send. It’s easy from there.

That's what I did before. And it worked fine. Now when I try and hit withdrawal or send the phone just vibrates. I emailed their support but it said it might take up to 48 hours to get a reply.


See if there are any btc ATMs local to you.

UPDATE: I got Coinbase to take my Debit card finally and got the money off that.

But, I am still looking for other suggestions for BTC apps. Cash App just gives me the feeling it's going to get regulated anyday and be shut down from BTC transfers. We need to a backup if and when this happens.

We need to a backup if and when this happens.Coinstar will show you if there are any local. Just sign up.Then you go put cash in the machine. They're all in the bodegas in the hood around here. It's funny going in and there's multiple people in line to use it. Last time a lady that was about 70 was sending btc to someone. Lol

I had a problem using cash app on my phone logged in on my wifes phone and had no issues. Maybe you can use someone else device. Just a thought

I figured out what was wrong with my Cash app. I had My Cash App in what Samsung calls a "Secure Folder" on my phone. The earlier versions of Samsung allowed you to encrypt the entire drive, but now they just have an encrypted folder where you can store apps you don't want to let other people have access too. Anyway, I just had to go to the app settings and enable the camera, and it worked instantly.

Unfortunately, the payment I made through Coinbase (https://bit.ly/SSCoinBase) still hasn't shown up in my BitCoin wallet. Hopefully it's just a delay in the blockchain, but if not I'm going to have to deal with their support.
