I'm going to talk to a doctor in a few wks about elevated prolactin and try to get caber prescribed and talk about future options and things pertaining to AS. So the question is how would you go about bringing up AS use and if i should be straight up and say I don't plan on stopping soon or act ignorant of it like a dummy that just got something from a friend lol.

Dr patient confidentiality my bro . I just met my new primary doc on monday. I told him what I was on how much and that I dont plan on stopping anytime soon . He said ok then lets get things right . Did full bloods. Got me on cialis. He told me its better to do it right than go at it blind. I was kinda shocked. Hes mad cool. All in all just be honest this way they can and will help you ok.

I tend to agree with Docmartin. I think it is always best to be completely truthful with your doctor. But at the end of the day, that is a personal decision. I saw a doc for many years who knew about my AAS use and was totally cool about it.

Charger has a good point here. Your insurance company would have access to your information. I don't know if there would be any adverse consequences but that is something you might want to research.

Just say you take SARM stacks. Ostarine is notorious for raising prolactin. They are legal.
I have brought my bag of supps , to my appointment when the bloodwork comes in; then they prescribe it. {for primary care}

Your rates could possibly go up like a smokers could. Accidental death insurance- depending on the reason.
You don’t think the Feds could get an order to see your records?
I know that I am throwing out some bizarre ideas, but they could happen. I’m happy with my Dr knowing that I am all natural. LOL
Yes, it has its downfalls also. I went into ER a couple weeks out from a comp. testing was coming back fucked up. I started denying testing because I knew it was going to raise concerns and I was going to be a test specimen for the next 6 months.
Dr was surprised how just changing my diet had a drastic effect on cholesterol. LOLl

No worries brother. It did not occur to me either that there would be a downside.

I take my sports bag, there is no hiding I bodybuild so, I take my bag with my sarm bottles and other testosterone booster supplements: That way if anything is wrong with my levels; I can blame nutritional supplements. I don’t have to anymore because I have a plastic surgeon/anti aging physician. But when I used my primary for TRT. That is what I did. You can blame any bad numbers because they don’t know what the hell im taking! [emoji28]

Not only do they not know what you are taking but most of the time we walk into the appointments much more knowledgeable about all this stuff than the Doctor. I say this in reference to a PCP and obviously a specialist will be much more informed but even then it isn't like they have some hidden knowledge or information that we also don't have access to. I agree about being 1000% honest with the Doctor because there is really no down side to it at all, this isn't prescription painkillers we are talking about here so there is no need to really hide or lie about what your intentions are and who doesn't love having their gear paid for by insurance!!!!!

It is widely known that most of the test boosters out there wreak hell on your natural production. Thats a perfect reason as stated above HOWEVER... My prolactin came in high and full disclosure Im on trt, they found that the reason why is a sist on my pituitary gland. So dont freak out but there could also be another reason why. Just wanna put that out there bro

Agree and they took Deca away{$80 month} from hiv patients to market oxandrolone {$2,500 avg. month}. The compounding ********** are making it again but nandrolone Decanoate was literally just taken away by Watson-Savient : {link about story}[emoji3593]. Plus they had the rights to the brand name Deca-Durabolin[emoji2401]. It also can lower pain for people
with chronic pain and has way less deleterious effects on liver and addiction compared to excess acetaminophen.

That is a disgrace that they took Deca away from hiv patients and substituted a much more expensive alternative.

Need to really know and trust your doctor. If you don’t, find another doctor. As far as talking to the doctor I mentioned to him I wanted to discuss something with him off the books, person to person if he wanted me to be fully open with him. It’s easier on my doctor to fully evaluate situations if he knows everything I’m doing.

Pretty sure a smart physician would have your back and keep that info "off the books". This is how so many Sports Doctors and TRT doctors can treat all their gear abusing patients without their health insurance being adversely effected. Now if you have a small town, family doctor that may be a different story...

I never have and never will tell a Dr about my AAS use. I wouldn't be telling them anything they don't already know as soon as I sit down with em.

I will say this once something is added to your official health records its there to stay. Some of it is based on what authorization forms you sign.

If you have a claim filed on your behalf say because your organs have taken a beating over the yrs and you need medical intervention. You admitting to AAS abuse is a possibile reason for the claim to be denied.

For me what it comes down to is the risk/reward scale. If you are confident you know all the risks of you admitting this then you are far more knowledgeable than I am. I don't, with 100% certainty, know all the possible risks so I choose not to openly discuss this with any health care professional.

Now I have had medica/health complications due to 22yrs in this game & my response is "I spend more money at GNC than I do on groceries." I explain my physique by saying "I can't take too much credit I hit the genetic lottery."

Had a nasty infection at the injection site here @ 5yrs ago. Told em I pin'd B12 and I knew I shouldn't have.

We are very similar. Had an infection surgically removed and said that I used B12 I even took the box to make it believable.

Went to the ER 4 weeks out from a competition. Tests started coming back terrible for everything. I started refusing testing because I knew what the results would show.
Told Dr my diet was bad. They could not believe how quickly I could change my cholesterol levels through just dieting. LOL
They even asked for an ultrasound of the arteries in my neck because the values changed so fast... I obviously didn’t tell them I was on 700 mg tren.

So true! I too am NOT motivated by money. I am fortunate that all my needs are met. BUT I am humble enough to know that ALL THIS COULD ALL END TOMORROW!! Life gives us no guarantees. A catastrophic illness or severe economic down turn and my life could change dramatically. We are all much more vulnerable that we think. It burns me up that certain for profit entities would exploit any man or woman who is trying to afford the medicine that keeps them alive.

Absolutely correct. Insurance company will know what the dr puts down on paper HOWEVER if dr doesn’t put it down you should be ok BUT know the dr is now falsifying documents.
it’s a tough call And a big “Grey” area. I had a friend who was dropped by insurance company. It also made it hard for him to get another plan.
We all think honesty is best policy but not always

I hear you brother. Sadly, total honesty is not always the best policy in every situation.

Omg! Sounds exactly the way to go about it. In fact, the b-12 shot for guys who get the softball infection after a bad inj is the only thing to say! Even if they know because you walk in looking like A beast, they only know what you tell them.
Smart and sound , and keeps your health insurance intact. Losing a healthcare plan or putting it in jeopardy would be devastating for a family man, let alone a single one. Denial isnt just a river in Africa! Lol [emoji38]
