Houston Man Charged with Selling Illegal Steroids

Feb. 12 (11:30 p.m.) William Tyler Thrift, 24, of Houston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 with Intent to Deliver > 400 g. Thrift, who is from Friendswood, has been the target of an extensive investigation into the sale of illegal steroids in the Friendswood area.

A warrant was issued for Thrift’s arrest and he was stopped in the 700 block of E. Nasa Parkway. As a result of the traffic stop, an additional 200 grams of liquid steroids and 140 vials of HGH were recovered. Thrift’s bond is set at $350,000. The possession or sale of anabolic steroids without a valid prescription is illegal.
