Hey fellow lifters.

Bit of background about me. 24yo -180cm -230lbsh. Used to compete in men’s physique natural then IFBB. Had dropped out of uni and put all my eggs in one basket started competing in IFBB, great experience but I realised I just don’t wanna push to that extent...drugs wise lifestyle wise etc. I am a academic topper and absolutely have no problems understanding anything but my area of interest particularly is problems solving/mathematics so fast forward 2 years and I’ve completed one year of my computer science degree.

Recently decided to go back on gear since I just don’t enjoy training naturally anymore. I mean the results, pumps are nowhere near. I love training and have trained every single day since I was 16yrs old, I’m willing to go an extra mile to take my training to the next level.

Anyway enough about my boring life and onto the fun training stuff.

First day of injection today, going to be running 350mg/week Test E that’s all. Super scary shit man, it’s been a while!! Got so nervous when I had the injection ready to go, it all hit me. Do I really wanna do this all over again? I swear I cleaned my glutes with prep pads like 10 times, anyway stopped being a little bitch and done it.

Im going to be I guess documenting my progress/journey and see where I’m going with this. Definitely not going to be competing but I do love this lifestyle to a moderate extent. I’m fairly new, so glad to be part of this community.

Cheers

Week 2:

Today was the first day of week 2 injections. Test has started to kick in, at least I can feel it during my training sessions, this is a very early on kick, and I’m feeling good. It’s been a minute. Past 2 years, felt like shit for most of the session, I mean not literally shit but just felt off since being off gear, it’s just different and the way I train and I’m sure many of you can relate, gear just helps to push that much further without feeling over trained all the time

I’m gathering all my strength base line numbers since these are pretty much natty numbers and in 6 weeks, I’ll compare then see how much progress is made: (I’m pretty weak by strength standards haha don’t judge I always trained for bodybuilding comps and personally last 2 years decided not to lift more than 100kg on most lifts, I just felt like my me not being into bodybuilding comps anymore, there isn’t much reason to push my joints that far)

Bench press: 8r x 100kg
Strict Military press: 8r x 80kg
Barbell rows: 8r x 105kg
Stiff legged deadlift: 8r x 140kg

That’s all I have so far, unfortunately I don’t do squats because of knee issues and deadlifts I only do stiff-legged.

Looking forward to making some serious strength gains on my bench and military press, most keen on them.
