Hey there brothers, just got finnished reading "Game of Shadows" byMarkFainaru and Lance Williams. Its about the whole BALCO, rise of Patrick Arnold, Andro, Barry Bonds, McGuire and all the olympians on hor ones.

So any ways Victor Conte founder of balco, completely made the ZMA concept up, all the studies were boguS!!! He kept all the top name sponsee's (NFL,IFBB,OLYPIANS) adversdtising ZMA because he was suppling them "The Clear" and GH.

The machine he claimed to do the "mineral detection" experiements was a complete crock of shit!!!!

If you have a deficiancy, you would be better off taking a zinc tab and a magnesium tab, or getting it from food!

they still sale zma today.

Dont believe me? Get the book. Pretty good read on steroids, Patrick Arnold, Conte, and Bonds

Yea zinc Md magnesium work for your body to do a number of things but can also throw your natural Mineral balance off. Thanks for the heads up tho.

it's a known fact that the nutrition/supplement industry is one of the top ranking money makers along with pharmacuetical meds and the illegal drug trade.people just want it more faster, quicker,mo' better than they think they can get thru proper diet.protein,creatine,pre-workout drinks and maybe some N.O. is as far as i go.i tell all my guys that ask me for advice...stay away from muscle rags and GNC type of places.just out for the money.

anyone remember the miracle powder HotStuff...?! what a total farce pushed by that midget Steve Brisbois.

Supps have been shitty since "prohormones" were pulled. 3 of the greatest supps: transdermal 4AD, 4OHT & oral M1T were the real deal. I would kill to get raws of 4AD/4OHT :)

I remember taking ZMA about ten years or so after I saw Victor Conte posing with Barry Bonds and some other guy in some magazine article. The article was about the BALCO brand ZMA that he was pushing. I used it as directed and never saw (or felt) the results that Barry got from the stuff. I know that people get fooled into thinking that the magazine models get their results from the supplement that they are paid to represent, but I'm embarrassed to say that I spent tons of money thinking that those supplements would give me similar physical and health results like the dudes in the muscle mags. All that money could have gone to other stuff (e.g.- test enth, mast p, anavar, whinny, etc.). Thank goodness for that movie Bigger, Stronger, Faster because it exposed the marketing and quality of supplements in one of the segments. Better late than never.

i love the supplement industry trick of bindi ng two ingredients into a salt then calling it a new compound. like it doesnt just seperate in water anyway.
