Headed for the big 52 in a few months, anyone have a pretty good workout. And yes I know what works for one doesn’t always work for another. I don’t really want to do heavy weight anymore. I’m more focused on just hardening the muscle and focusing on my diet. Workout time is around 4am. Usually take a non-stem pre workout. Also I moved so far out in the country I bought a home gym with cables, a smith machine and some free weights. Trying to buy some dumbbells and some type of leg machine.

At 56, I have had my own gym since 2000.
I have progressively lightened the load and focused more on lighter weight, higher volume but what has really helped me is TUT method. Concentrating on super strict form and very slow on the negatives.
since about 2010 I have went and stayed with supersets with about 3-4 minute rests.
I stay off the hard stuff ( Tren, Dbol etc) and stick with basic stuff like Test, Eq, Mast, Primo etc.
I also change up my exercises Monthly.

What are your stats?

Thanks Smoove, Currently 5'6 about 235, I'm trying to get down to 200 or 195. I really don't want to go lower than that. I've been lifting since i was 13 but i have taken the last few years off. I'm not using anything hard, i have been on trt for the last couple of years. I would like to add a little deca in my trt but that maybe further down the line. I really need to work on my nutrition and like you said focus on more reps and lighter weight. Would it be more beneficial to do whole body work outs or stick to one body part a day and work out 5 days a week?

I use beast mode a lot 15,12,8,12,15 with enough weight it can be completed by making the last 3 sets pretty tuff to complete.

I workout 2 days on 1 day off . I do a 200 deficit year round . I'd say get body testes every 3 months .I also take a week of bout every 3 months as well .

I believe as we age over 50 than our body needs more protein also . So I push my protein to 1.2 to 1.5 grams per kg of weight

Ill be 57 in may
