DANBURY, Conn. - Several months after the Danbury police executed a successful search warrant last September for steroids, police have formally charged the man reportedly selling them.

According to a police report, Danbury resident Bernard Henry, 48, was found to have a significant amount of anabolic steroids hidden in his bedroom in September. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of several other people last fall, but Henry was not charged then, said police, who continued the investigation.

On Wednesday, May 1, the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division and the Connecticut State Police's Statewide Narcotics Task Force received information that Henry would be in possession of a substantial quantity of steroids, the police report said. At 7 p.m. that day, officers stopped Henry's truck on White Turkey Road, police said. Steroids were found in a a search of the truck, police said.

Henry was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He was released after posting $100,000 bond. No court date was set.

Wouldn't they have to raid his residence if they got a tip, not just see him driving and pull him over?

It's better if they catch him moving it cause they can usually charge him with more crimes. Especially if it's still packaged in the post parcel then they can get him on trafficking as well and if it's USPS it's even worse.

It's all a big chicken shit game.
