I'm just curious to see how many of you are sore the next day after training a muscle group. I never seem to be sore. So I dont know if it is the gear helping with recovery, or I'm not training hard and heavy enough, or if it is the same for you guys.

now I know if I took a month off, and then started training again, I'd be sore for a week straight. I mean, I'll feel it a little bit the next day, but nothing bad at all.
Sometimes legs will be sore on me the next day, but that is it.

My legs and back are the only parts that still get really sore, but like you said if you take time off then you get sore I think our bodies just get use to the strain.

Only after a good back day and after an intense chest day. Never feel bis or tris or tries and rarely legs or shoulder.

Its probably just me but I think if im not at least a little sore then I didn't hit hard enough or right.. The gym I go to is always so crowded so I never get to do the same w/o twice even if I wanted to. I notice if I go heavy one week and then light the next I will be sore both ways. I also try to use explosive techniques like out of a bench press or squat. Then next week try to feel the negatives.. The gear definitely helps with the recovery though!!!

I usually push myself hard enough that im a little sore the next day but most of my pain comes from where i pinned the day before.

I do not always get sore but I do always seem to make progress when I do.
So I believe that I need to more often than not.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN - right?

I always try to go as hard as I can and I feel like if I'm not sore the next day then I didn't go hard enough. But who knows. Just a mmental thing I think. I like being sore, except for my damn legs.

I don't get sore after every workout but, I fucking love that pain you get the next day when you rip them muscle fibers.

Ok, so it looks like it is not just me. But I am going to have to try to push harder and see if I can get more of a burn the next day. I dont want to have the mentality that if I'm not dying the next day then I'm not doing shit I guess.....

^^ I though I hit the gym somewhat hard til I hired a personal trainer. I was puking water in the parking lot after my last session with that MF.
Taking about pain the next day, I was crippled for two days. Fucking loved it..

Well i just started getting back into it so yes i get sore after everything lol. but when ive been at it for a while legs and back are the only ones that get sore as far as muscle. certain leg and arm workouts will make my knees and elbows hurt though.

even with all the gear i still manage to get sore biceps being the exception for some reason they barely ever get sore. most of the time i pop an ibuprofen and its gone.

That sounds about right. If your consistence training in the gym the soreness should be less and less. That's why most regular quit, because they are not consistence. Also the body adapt very quick so that is why you change up your workout.

It varies from time to time. Heavier weight will do it. Always put safety first brother.

If you haven't tried the FST-7 training, give it a whirl. If it doesn't make you sore you are a true F.O.N. freak of nature :D!! Freak of nature being an awesome thing!!! Some day soon I hope to get my FON wings!!!

i'll say it once and say it again...SORENESS is not sign of effective workout, only muscle conditioning....I don't get sore upper body, but then again, if I wanted too, I could

German89

Probably because your shoulders are always in use

Getting sore is a natural response to the microtears we are trying to cause to stimulate growth. I don't get as sore as I used to but once an exercise seems to get to the point that I don't get sore. I can keep training on it for strength, or switch to a different exercise and intensity technique and I'll start getting nice and sore and growing constantly. It does slow weight progression for any one move though

Either way soreness sucks. I walk like a 80 year old man with a cane when I deadlift

If I hit it really hard or change up my routine I will get sore, otherwise usually not

I only get sore after a heavy leg day or heavy deads. Then it's only for a day or so. Days with these workouts get heavy protein and always 2 scoops of casein before bed. I notice the casein before bed helps a lot for me.

I can be sore on legs every single week, chest and back not so much.
