Thanks for the update, according to RichPiana chemically enhanced athletes can gain just as we'll doing lighter weights and higher reps. This is especially helpful for us older guys.

True, I frequently do a heavy compound exercise (like squats) 10-15 rep range then leg press or hacks 20-30 rep range - pump + growth is like a kid again.

      I also hit a weak body part 2x a Wk, 1st time is regular workout, 2nd time is just a light pump/feeder workout = 1Ex, 4-5 sets, 15-25 reps.

I think I am going to switch it up for the next few months and try some higher reps.

wow reps of 20... you go boy and best of luck. i am not a bulk monster and more of athletic build. i have to stay agile and not in a bodybulidng contest. but i like the higher reps and it helps me stay lean and strong.

20+ rep workouts is no pussy move. I personally think its more intense then your typical lower rep pyramid workout. Sometimes, I would even do 3-5 rep heavy sets before busting out the high reps. It's a good way to work around joint pain or injuries while maintaining high intensity..
