I rarely go over 20. I've puked doing widow makers. S I've gotten older I've moved my reps up
I started doing Ronnie Coleman's method of 4 sets of 30 (60sec rest b/w sets) reps for leg extensions to pre-exhaust the quads and put on some extra mass fairly quickly. It is definitely god to throw in some high reps sets, maybe switching up on the exercises. Also, a 4-6/1/2 tempo with lower reps and sets from time to time. The latter seems to be great for strength gains also.
I regularly go over 20 reps.. I do very little heavy, low rep training but I do incorporate it every gym day for at least a couple movements. My sweet spot seems to be 15-20 reps..
abs.. forget about it.. I lose count!!
