Thread: Planet Fitness Is Not a Gym

I train at PF. Its half of an old Walmart and has more equipment and cardio than any gym I've ever been to in my life.

They wont let you yell and scream and grunt and groan like an idiot, which is OK by me. It pisses me off when dipshits bang
and drop weights anyway, so I'm not missing it. If you like to go in, put your earbuds in and do your own thing, its perfect.

I'm 47, not a kid and don't want to act like one. I'm 5'10, 250 lbs and this one is plenty for me. Agreed that some of the others are not as liberal as mine but its rare when I travel that I have issues.

We don't have Planet Fitness here but from what I read it's just like Basic Fit ... I stay away from it. I have two small gyms I can go to, one where I do cross fit during my lunch break and the other one that is more hardcore. It's enough for me.

Place is a joke..

im not a big fan of pf.... simply bcuz i honestly went there one day with my girlfriend and a dude was on leg extensions, chillin and eating at the same time....thats just not right at all..the gym i go to is kinda like a version of the metroflex... loud, testoserone flowing everywere, music blaring,that kinda shit... it gets my blood flowing!!!But everyone has different taste...
i luv the sound of plates clinging together, n 100lb dumbells being dropped... wen u doin a set to failure weights arent meant to be set down all easy n shit lol cmon get outa here with that.
