If I tried to explain people would just think I was crazy and I don't need the patronization (not that I think you're patronizing me). But I do well fasting 16 hours and getting my calories in the remaining 8. I stay lean, retain very little water, my strength increases at a steady rate, as does my weight. I'm not hungry all day. I don't carry food everywhere I go. Lots of benefits really. The biggest benefit is being lean all the time. I like all kinds of diets. But this is the one that works best for me. If you want I can talk more about it. If not, that's ok too.

LOL... for some reason I didn't think anyone would think I was joking. But I can see how you would. It's true, though.

sorry... I just realized I might not have answered your question. The reason I train fasted is because I'm completely full throughout my entire feeding time. If I were to lift weights, I would yak. But it doesn't effect my energy at all, believe it or not.

That's interesting I can see how that would work for some. My metabolism has always been pretty high. I think that I need to allow myself more time in the mornings to eat. My main issue isn't my weight though. I've always been good about putting on weight and cutting weight but my main problem is strength. I seem to be losing quite a bit of it over the last few months. Thought that it maybe be hitting the gym early on nearly an empty stomach.

Yeah maybe I have a little. Didn't think that it would affect me this much.

You have to remember to rest as hard or harder than you train. You do not grow in the gym you grow when you rest. I know we all know this but even i have to remind myself the real importance of rest from time to time...
