I too am a firm believer of high rep squats but to a different degree. I did Tyson squats for one month essentially getting up to 36 cards which is the equivalent of body weight squatting for 2 hours and my whole physique changed!. Dont get me wrong I employed every other bodyweight exercise that I could giving the location I was stuck in but I literally saw a different person in the mirror/ a warrior,if you will from someone who was weak and pathetic. Everything grew and got shredded!!!- I mean striated and I wasnt ripped to start by any means. So, I gotta say thanks for the great article and solid science behind it. Thanks!!

My recent leg workout, after completion of medium weight 20 reps scheme I finished with 100 air squats non stop. BURN!!

I agree. It’s a great mix up to do. I will shoot for a 20 rep BS 2x a yr in 2 different strength cycles. Usually lasting about 4wks. Last 20 rep BS I hit was at 395.
