Rack pulls. still pull a ton of weight. My legs dont need deads and rack pulls wor your back as good if you do them right.
Seated rows, not just pulling, lay back after the pull
Dumbell bent over rows/ Pull Ups or Lat Pulldown/ Seated Rows-wide grip & close grip
I do partial deads with 1 min rest between sets and it's brutal. You should try it. You set the bar at knee level height to take the legs mostly out of the equation and its a great back builder. I get my legs worked hard on leg day, don't need it on back day with full deadlifts.
Is rack pulls another name for partial deadlifts?
