Yeeouch....ripped off my callouses again
Doing trap bar deadlifts today with moderately heavy weight (425 lbs). Looked down after the set and had a hand full of blood...ripped the damn callouses off my right hand under the middle and ring fingers. Usually I'll just use some super glue on 'em, but had to resort to the small round band aids since there's no glue in the house. Got some soap under those torn callouses...yeouch!!!

Done that a few times myself. I can't stand weight lifting gloves. Started using chalk and haven't had it happen since. Superglue sounds frickin painful bro!

OUCH! I know that feeling bro!

Super glue works great for stuff like this.

Also, for cuts too. Clean out real good then super glue shut.

I may be totally wrong about this, but I remember reading somewhere that crazy glue was developed by the military specifically for closing wounds in the field (Vietnam era I think). Only became glue for regular use as a secondary thing!

Ok so just wikipedia'd it.....not developed for that, but was used that way in Vietnam. Super glue is the same chemical as dermabond though, which is used medically to close wounds instead of stitches! Science!
