going to true failure with out a partner
I have come close a few times but I am looking to do a shock to my arms and back to try and get some good growth this cycle but I have no partner so how can I push hard enough to shock without any help for negatives and slow reps or absolute true failure ? and input on this I want to put on as much mass as possible

without a partner I would say something long the lines of NOS sets that ben Pakulski talks about (google search will show some info on this) or that standard Rest pauses seem to do the trick. Another thing ive done (which probably isn't great) is train a body part in the AM and go backin the PM and train it again. The muscle will be well and truly exhausted then.

DO that or give it everything you got then do a multiple drop set to failure on each drop. You will destroy that body part for sure
