Yeah I probably took that one out of context. If u expect gear to do all the work you’re sadly mistaken. This is evident by all the people who look natty even tho they’re on shit

I believe they’re are called ‘half-natty’ because the half-ass it. Drives me crazy how people think gear is just a magical thing that requires no work to change the body. When it’s the polar opposite

Great thread brothers. It is always good reinforcement to hear the “basics” to growth and get nuggets of new info. Like anything else that grows in nature it can’t grow if it is ignored or under nourished and the opposite is true.... too much of anything will also produce negative side effects!!

For me when Im giving it my all Ive noticed that in some regards I lift heavier than others. Now I'm not bigger than alot of guys Ive seen but I put in the effort. What I try to share is even though I'm busting through, Im not concerned with what others do or have as what Im doing is personal, me versus me, not me versus you

I was gonna disagree with his number two also you're only as big as your biggest dose. Assuming training and diet are locked in

I'm sure we've all discovered things that work for us personally, but perhaps it's useful to start a thread sharing lessons learned. Apologies if this had already been done!
I'll kick it off:
1. Diet uber alles - you cannot gain a single inch unless you eat enough, and conversely, dropping fat requires a deficit.
2. More gear does not make you grow bigger or faster.
3. Squat motherfucker.
4. Focus on your triceps if you want bigger arms.
5. Sleep enough.
6. Remain humble.
I've got more, but don't want to steal the limelight, brothers.
When I first started I would lift for an hour or whatever to get big and then I would do like 45 mins or cardio if something to get shedded. Needless to say that did. It work lol

Yeah I misread at first. MORE gear is not always better.

Squat and Deadlifts if your able. This doesn't mean you have to go balls out heavy but these two movements are a must especially for young guys building a foundation.
