Alright brothers and sisters. I’m at somewhat of a crossroads this year with which path I’d like to take for my competitive career. So I’d like honest opinions from anyone who cares to give their 2 cents.

So here’s my two options:

A) stay in classic physique, continue to cut and get ready to make a run at nationals mid-2018. My coach thinks I have a good shot at getting my pro card at some point this year, and I feel based off of my feedback and the progress I’ll continue to make that very well could be. However this is where I’m torn with option b)...

B) go into a lean bulk mode the rest of the year and see where I can take my physique. In doing so I’d most likely jump into body building due to the new size accrued. My body loves to grow and it was bittersweet to ‘bulk’ this year because I couldn’t push past 230lbs due to my height/weight limit in my class. Which made bulking feel more like a cut phase. Here’s my logic: 3 years ago I capped at 208lbs. 2 years ago I capped at 225lbs, and last year I capped at 246lbs. This year I could not push past the 230lbs mark as previously stated due to limits in my class. But based off the data I probably could have go to 260lbs or up...

So there’s the options my friends. Which one do you think makes more sense? Thank you in advance for your opinions!
