I watched an interview where he stated he likes to have a couple meals in before he trains and he trained around 10:30 am. So he must of supplemented with a shake rather then a real meal. Just speculating here but maybe he felt the shake hit his system faster with less bloating which was easier on the stomach before a killer training session???
