Also like to keep the shoulder blades pinched for rows/pull-ups When targeting lats. If training with a partner and doing cable rows I’ll have him provide some eccentric loading as well.

Heavy dumbbell pullovers with elbows tight. Good stretch on the bottom and driving through elbows like you’re chopping wood.

For a variation on rows I’ll hit the smith machine, hang on bar, feet on ground, back to the floor and row up bar to chest.

I gotta agree, so many guys worried about the weight. Get the form down first and the weight will come. I had the same problem when I started back up, my bi’s dominated my back workouts. So I threw in some of Arnold’s workouts, first set on each exercise 30 reps, 15, 12, & 10. Slow and steady with maximum squeeze. I’ve also blasted bi’s first before I start my back to force my back muscles work. Just my 2 cents.
