Great info darkside!! I will be implementing these 5 musts into my arm routine tomorrow! I can't say that I have ever thought about letting my elbows come away from my sides when I'm going for those forced reps. No wonder I feel that my biceps are responding any more. Everyone always says more weight...more weight!!! But like you said I have noticed that my anterior delts have been developing faster than say my medial delts. Definitely guilty of using those anteriors in getting through the later sets. Less weight obviously is a must in order for me to bring up those bi's! Glad I read this to reiterate the importance of proper technique (even when you have been lifting for years, it's easy to forget the fundamentals)!!

Glad I can help. Sometimes we skip basics and the we look why we failed...simple stuff like wrist angles, tension, full ROM is the answer to all our questions...

Beginning of the year I used this, I will use it again every 6 months or so.
I have a massive volume day, 40, 30, 20, 10, 10, 20, 30, 40. I rest same number of seconds as I do reps. I repeat that 4 times. I used light weight and an EZ curl bar. I'd say I gained a 1/4" from it.
I am a huge fan of high volume, extended short and long contraction times as my main training philosophy.
"If you aim at nothing, you're guaranteed to hit it everytime"

I agree, it really is effective, I am doing different variations, combining methods and getting as creative as possible. It is like pouring gas on an old flame, "fire in the hole" the burn is extreme!

hell yeah, maximal contraction on biceps with both static and kinetic contraction with 6-8 sec positivr and negative will burn like no other....

Back, hams, chest, quads, I've applied this philosophy everywhere, the limits are unknown for me so far.

SHIT!! Quads??? I haven't mastered doing that with quads, as I don't think mine are conditioned enough for that, but if you do quads like that your a fucking MAN for sure.....wooooo....ouch!
