      incline bb presses

When trying to get thicker upper chest this my favorite exercise followed by DB flies then on to the pec deck. A slight incline seems to work best with strict form always and slow negative. What are dome of your favorite movements for upper chest?

I use incline flys (open face) and standard grip incl bb press for width...the part of the chest you hit is all dependat on grip, bar position, angle and squeezing through both parts of the movement

Hammerstrength incline press kills it too.

How to fuck it up on pec dec

Depending on brand of machine. Dont grip those fucking handles. Slide your hand up above them and let the seat down low.

So your elbows are slightly pointing up (slightly above hand position) and heres the important part....the eccentric movement is a fly but the push is almost like a press , so the contraction starts with bringing hands together, but the elbows push inward, this gives maximal squeeze in pectorial

So your finnish position, your elbows are fully extended, on the negative drop back with elbows first.

Slow tempo through negative and a little slow on positive with 2 sec static hold and end when elbows extend....KILLER!!!!!!!!!!!

I had trouble with inner chest in my early years and Guy told me the same its all in the grip. In db flies instead of palms in I was advised maybe try it with palms up thumbs in holding the DB's. Does give a bit more of a stretch in the inner chest area.

bro, I had the same prob.

If your gym has the dumbell that are Octagon shaped, I can give you a killer inner chest buster.

Take two octagon dumbells. Flat bench...now have them on your knees and match them up, meaning fit them togather so the the sides are touching together even.

Now, press them towards each other (this is important for maximal contraction)

Lean back and lay on bench bringing dumbells back.

WAIT! Dont press them fuckers just yet.....now, squeeze or push them together before the movement, this will create a static contraction itself. after the muscle is engaged, then start the movement,

So its octagon dumbells close together, press them bastards. Its like a really, really close grip db press, and heres the best part....since the grip is nuetral , I found it doesnt wear out the anterior delt...chest (with emphasis on center) and tricep, nice squeeze on latterla head at end of movement.

You can do this with full and partial movements where chest is under most tension

      KILLER!!!!!!

Alot of peeps seem to have forgotten Incline Flys exist. Im not saying they are "the" answer but it sure will help.

Good stuff on grip as well mentioned above. Upper chest is a weak point for many!!!!!

I like the incline dumbell press for upper pecs. The increased range of motion for DB's seem to make my chest grow faster.

Reverse grip bench presses with a plate under the front of the bench. Man, that gets it good..

+1 ^ forgot to mention these with a nice squeeze at the top. I had been laying off for a bit bc it kills my tendinitis in my elbow when I do them too much
