Thread: Belt question

Hey guys -

I’ve been bodybuilding for over 20 years. Obviously more reckless in my youth. Never used belts except for weighted dips.

Recently, I had ventral hernia surgery 2-3cm repair with mesh put in. So - once I get the all clear I’m thinking i should use a belt to squat and dead for that mind muscle connection on my abs.

Any recommendations? Back in the day there was like 1 welder brand and it was leather. Now there’s hundreds with nylon/Velcro/instant lock all kinds of shit.

Little overwhelmed so I’d love some guidance if you have any!
