      Bitcoin (BTC)

Anyone using it or buying it? The price is steadily rising. I remember when it was around 20 bucks per 1 Bitcoin now it is averaging $230.00.

Haven't fooled with it myself. That's a heck of an increase in cost.

I have never used bitcoin...it looks like a safe bet for buying things on the internet though. I still don't think that I want to mess with it, looks a little sketchy to me.

Aside from speculation, its nowhere near anonymous, and its actually pretty easy to trace. The problem is that they can follow each unique BTC ID from person to person. They can't trace the transaction, but they can see when that person receives a BTC # that you had, and thus put it together that you sent it to them. Currently there is no good way to wash and anonymously send it.. So, playing the market aside, its not all its cracked up to be anonymity wise.. Now If you want to play the market that's another story.. Good luck. lol Its really volatile, and kind of a scary system once you understand how it works.

I have used it and bought in to it. I made a few extra extra dollars a while back when it sky rocketed. Played a little bit on SILK ROAD then eventually cashed it out before the recent SHUT DOWN.

This is suppose to go through the roof. I saw on the news today the government is trying to tax it. What the fuck is up with that? The damn government has to fuck with everything.

I think the theoretical market cap is at 420 billion. Right now were at around 4 billion in BTC. As more get mined there will be more. Some big investors are speculating it will get 100x value when it caps.

      It broke a thousand.

More people on these boards need to use this currency online.

I suggest all sponsors use it as well.
