Kakaotalk, Naver, Line have all been asked by NSA to provide logs. According to them they haven't. I will NEVER use a iPhone for sensitive documents but for encrypted chat, Kik should be fine.

never in my post did i say it was encrypted. You should be wary of any software that claims "encryption" that isn't opensource
