The trade is also put into an escrow until the transaction is complete so even more safety for both parties.
After you get them you can transfer them into any anonymous wallet you prefer and even tumble them for even more anonymity.

I still have no idea how to do this... I feel like it should be as simple as using a cc to buy bitcoins on a site and then just send them but for some reason it is beyond my capabilities to do this correctly hahaha.

I don't like bitcoin. I prefer good old WU. Pay with cash and use whatever name I want.
