All,
I have been focused these last few months on all things regarding online anonymity and security. No doubt many of you are much more well versed in this arena than me, but I thought I would share something useful I have found. What I found was HTTPS Everywhere.
Obviously the most secure and anonymous way to surf around is to use a Tails OS from a flash drive, sign into VPN, then browse using TOR. Do not change screen size. Creating a completely different identity in all PGP encrypted communications and never divert. I use Kleopatra to create/encrypt/decrypt all public/private keys.
This is what you want to do to access the dark web and the areas there that may at first seem like an interesting idea only to have you waiting for your door to be kicked in or your worst fears regarding your loved ones played out in your nightmares.....I digress....
Those of you who have gone through this entire song and dance have come to realize the limitations in all this when regularly browsing around the internet. To this end I have worked to find the most anoymous and secure way to surf around while not sacrificing total efficiency.
I do many things to achieve this, but the newest useful tool I use is called HTTPS Everywhere which can be downloaded at the Electronic Frontier Foundation Site: About EFF | Electronic Frontier Foundation
They are involved in many endeavors regarding free speech and privacy. They offer many tools (like HTTPS Everywhere) and many security guides from the simple to the complicated.
