The sad part is though, not all the information is correct... but it’s accepted as truth...

I quit Facebook and all that social media for the most part.. but they still have a lot of my info...

Years ago I was surprised to see during one search I did on my phone number, came up some escort service I ordered a private dancer from in like 2006ish lol... I was like how the fuck?!? The website was no longer active either... I had to hire a service to scrub that out... I try to be very careful but dumb shit still shows up... like that.. how? Doesn’t matter. What matters is it did..

You’re right though... apple... google... amazon .. all these douche bags store and share all of our stuff...
I work in IT as well, and believe me, I've looked up candidates for the position we were hiring for and yeah, I turned down a few dudes, especially the dumbass who told me in our interview that he wanted to work at our site because it was close to home and he didn't have a car due to drug issues.. <facepalm> . I actually use the internet and facebook for me. I only accept people that I know and trust to be my friend on social media. I only post work safe material or comments, minus political comments (those go either way). Language is safe and most importantly, if I have someone that I don't like on my social media due to language, etc, I unfollow them. I keep everything extremely safe and friendly. Anything else on the internet is just normal crap.

Now, since we are speaking openly about keeping our identities safe, it doesn't help CowboyMike if you're using an avatar pic that looks exactly like you, dude!!
