Help with tutanota before I lose my mind

So I set up a tutanota account and contacted a sponsor as suggested on here. The sponsor had a tutanota email and got back to me no problem but gave me another email address for questions. That email isn't a tutanota one. So when I use my tutanota account and put in the non one it says I have to make a password. So i tested it on one of my non secure email accounts and notice I cant open it without the password (which this person wouldn't have received). So I go on tutanota website to figure this out and see you have to give password threw other means....

So how in the hell am I supposed to do this if it needs to be secure? Between all this computer crap and setting up bitcoin crap the last two weeks I'm getting to the point I just want to give up.

How do I reach this person? I did notice if I hit the confidential button off it works without using a password. Is that okay or will that throw up a red flag? I'm thinking its still secure but I'm not sure and don't want to upset a sponsor.

      Thanks for any help

I'm not a tech person if you cant tell

When you use your tutanota account and send an email to, let’s say a protonmail account. It will ask for a password.
There will be a tiny little “lock” image near the subject line. You can hit that and it should take off the password deal for ya.
Let me know if that works

Thank you so much for the fast reply. Yes the red lock button near the subject line says "confidential" if you hover mouse pointer over it. If I click it to turn it off it does make the password window disappear. So your saying it's okay to do that and the email will still be secure and sponsor ok to take my email?

No problem man. Yes correct. As long as you are sending to another encrypted email like proton then your ok.
For some reason they set it up like that but I have never had any issues.

Oh and if you get a email at anytime from “Tutanota Team” trash that immediately and do not open.
      Usually it’s a hack.

I emailed two people since turning off confidential and have gotten no response from either. I don't have a high enough post count yet to PM them on here to see if they got it or if turning that thing off has made it unsecured and them not wanting to reply?

If it went thru then they most likely got it. Just give it some time and someone should respond. You sent it yesterday or last night correct?

The May 14th probably should have had a response possibly. Depends on how busy these guys are honestly. Yesterday’s hopefully you get something today.
We may just get your post count up enough by doing this tho so you can PM them lol

To the Op you’ve got a great guy 9Tmare leading you in the right direction. Not sure which sponsor it is but really doesn’t matter there all good . Give it some time to let them get back to you and no more then one email every 24 hours . Also got to remember it’s the weekend and a lot of shops take this time off . If ever need anything feel free reach out brother
