Proper diet - a consistent weakness
This has been a HUGE weakness mine forever. Always had a fast metabolism so it allowed me to build serious bad habits. I don't mind "getting bored" with a meal plan, I just have a hard time sticking to one. I work in a business that sometimes involves some remote work and when I go out for that I can groove on lean chicken breast and white rice every meal, and just lift on my downtime no problem. I come back to civilization then shit goes off the rails in the kitchen. I need a diet/meal plan for dummies book.

I know the feeling bro. It really helps to precook everything a few days in advance. Take out a few pounds of chicken, fish, lean ground meat, rice, veggies and cook all of it that way if you get hungry all you have to do is grab an already made meal and it doesn't leave you enough time to talk yourself out of it and into something else.

I know what you mean my friend. This is by far the hardest part of the sport. It takes some serious will power to keep your diet in check especially how cheap and easy fast food is and a fast food chain on every corner. Once you make your dieting decisions a habit you will be doing it without even thinking about it.

Same here. I feel the days I work Im more cautious of my diet but my days off I tend to slack. My last day off I went to the grocery store and spent $250 and when I got home I went out to eat. lol

Definitely an area in which I am also too inconsistent.

I find mixing it up helps keep me on track. Also I drink A LOT of protein smoothies. I blend everything from whey an greek yogurt and eggs to tuna peanut butter banana an milk. If you get those cravings keep your fridge an pantry stocked with stuff you can just throw in the blender. Cooking and eating clean can be a pain in the ass so when I'm not in the mood to cook and would normally eat out u just make a huge smoothie. Takes like 5 minutes. Clean calories. Its helped me out a lot
