Fasted Cardio
What are some of y'alls opinions on fasted cardio and hiit? Such as first thing in the morning before breakfast. Better fat loss? Does it jack up the metabolism? Is it broscience? What do y'all think is the best time and method for cardio or hiit for fat loss?

I do 45 minutes of fasted cardio 6 days a week. Steady state....usually elliptical or combination of incline treadmill walking and elliptical. I think HIIT on an empty stomach is a bad idea...too taxing.
Espresso to get me going, and I sip on a BCAA drink while I'm doing it.....
My take on it.......I don't know that there's that much difference in effectiveness doing it on an empty stomach or not. Seems minor. The big thing for me is that I feel so much better for the rest of the day by getting my heart rate up first thing in the morning. I also can't usually stomach much food right when I wake up anyway, but I'm ravenous after fasted cardio, so I always get a good big breakfast in afterwards.
I guess the upshot for me is not that the fasted cardio is much better itself.....but it seems to have all these other ancillary benefits for me, like increasing appetite for breakfast and getting me going before starting my day.

See no problems with cardio first thing before anything. But I would eat before I hit the sack tho! and make sure you dont nap after
you do the empty stomach cardio and then throw back a meal (a lot of people do this!)
HIIT is the only way
Whackin it before/after cardio may not be a bad idea either. Pre/Post reward motivation

Cardio\training on an empty stomach first thing in the morning for fat loss can't be beat. Your body has no other choice except to tap into your fat storage for fuel. It is the first thing I recommend to overweight people for weight loss.
