Carb Cycling
Does anyone have any experience with carb cycling? I am starting this week.
From what I understand it should look like this (please chime in):
Days 1&2 Really low carb: >.5 gram carbs per lb of mass
Days 3&4 Moderate carb: 1 gram carb per lb of mass
Days 5&6 Heavy carbs: 2 grams of carbs per lb of mass

I just take my current carb intake and have 3 low days each week were I take my carb intake in half of a normal day so if I normally would have 300 grams of carbs then my low days would be 150

you can adjust however you want. calculating per lb of mass makes it even more complicated than it needs to be. i do what kubes does, except i have a heavy day like you posted. for 2 days i try to have none. (it will never actually be 0) 3 days ill go moderate 200-300 grams, and then 2 days i eat as many as i can, staying within my calorie cap. (2700 cals for me right now)

That seems far less complicated. My only problem is I have no real reference point.
I have always just eaten carbs intuitively, which ended up being remarkably low for typical RDA and online calculators.

Do you generally do higher fat on no carb days?
Also is this effective while bulking? I was thinking of doing 3 high carb days on heavy training days

Well if you have an idea of what you were eating before you can just eyeball it and reduce on the low days. I would add more greens on those days too. The idea of this us to keep it simple
