Glucose Disposal Agents who's using what and when?
Looking into Metformin as a GDA (glucose disposal agent) to help with fatloss. Obviously both Metformin and insulin are as powerful of a drug as one would need but I'm not looking to go to that level....at this time at least.I found info Metformin can cause a lot of discomfort. I also don't like the fact that it interferes with protein synthesis and insulin requires a level of tenacity and commitment and attention to detail that I'm not ready for

It looks like there are great GDA products OTC but are pricey so I've opted for straight Na-R-ALA 250mg
My research comes up with either take it with breakfast or post workout OR both breakfast and post workout.
I'm currently running PSL primo/sust/HGH and focusing diet toward less carbs and higher fats. Along with a training program that involves high volume working muscles 2x a week and as much cardio I can squeeze in which isn't more than 1 to 2x a week at the moment.
Anyone have experience with GDA's that they would like to share?

You got Na-R-ALA, ala,cinnamon and some say chromium but alot of further research on chromium looks like it's a dude.

I have been playing with otc GDAs for a few years now cause i struggle with border line Glucose numbers... Just got bloods recently at 102 fasted... I've tried berberine with some success but not much, seems to me cinnamon and chromium works great! I am using that combo now, once in the am after growth injection, and once pre lunch meal, and will be checking via blood work within 2-3 months when i go for my GP. I also looked into Metformin but it seems, as you've said, there are some sides-to-benefits ratios i dont like, plus it seems like we dont have a domestic source that supplies it. If it came down to it tho, i'd use the metformin and just compensate for the sides. Having a good fasted blood sugar imo is paramount to our success in this sport for insulin sensitivity, if you dont got that u, u got shitty nutrition partitioning.....
