ACV & coconut oil to help rid heartburn

It's important to understand that the health of your whole body is tied to the health of the bacteria in your gut. Anti biotics will kill all bacteria both good and bad. So after you use some broad spectrum antibiotics you may start expierencing heart burn.* If you see your Dr. He/she May put you on heart burn meds...proton pump inhibitors. PPI's are not good for you, i will just say that much as it's not the intent of this post to discuss PPI's in great length. But please look it up .

PPI's and rolaids and tums reduce your stomach acid...when you are having heartburn it seems to make sense to reduce acid. Perhaps you have been diagnosed with acid reflux. But what is the other possibility?.....you may not be making enough of your own acid! So a PPI may make it worse in the long run.

When taking antibiotics you wipe out the healthy gut flora. This affects the chemistry in your gut. In turn you produce less stomach acid and create an environment for yeast to grow. This makes digestion problematic. You can get bloated and gasey...aka fart a lot. A gas forms in your stomach and pushes out and forces the flap that closes your stomach to your esophagus open and allows your stomach acid to rise up..hence heart burn.

There is a way to fix this with out PPI'S or tums.....

So here is the issue you have. The antibiotics kill off all the good bacteria in your digestive track and yeast takes over. This is where the gas comes from. The yeast is off gassing....

Cut sugar out of your diet(sugar feeds the yeast) and start running Coconut oil to kill off the yeast. Supplement good bacteria and fermented foods.
*MCT oil from coconut is fantastic for cutting also! It not only kills the yeast but it forces your body to burn fat. Research it. It may be better than ECA for cutting!

While doing that try taking a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar (OACV) about 30 min before you eat. Dilute it with water. This will bring up the acidity level and aid digestion.

Another important move to make is to stop eating 2 hrs before bed. And to not over eat.

      So...
      Cut sugars
      Take coconut oil
      Take OACV
      No eating before bed

Enjoy a heart burn free day!

Thanks. I actually take Prilosec once a day. Everyday. Been like that for years. I'm always struggling with acid reflux. For most of us who have it bad the real problem is the esophageal sphincter. Yeah......like your asshole. Well it doesn't work. So it doesn't close off the esophagus. It's a crock of shit because the medical field has not tried to come up with any solutions. Reason? Money. More money in PPI and meds. Why fix the problem when you can patch the problem and make a killing.

Yup! That flap is allowing the acid back up the esophagus.
It's a problem with the flap itself.

That is totally different. You may have normal acidic levels and regardless...the flap ain't working.

My question is...how do they isolate the issue.? How do they determine if it's a mechanical problem
      ?

My Dr didn't loom at me or order any tests. I told him I have acid reflux and he put me on Dexilant...
But since I'm experimenting with the above protocol I feel better and don't take the meds anymore. So in would say the lazy Dr. Made a loss poor diagnosis.

Yeah......... the medical field has done zero r&d to find solutions. If recall the surgery they still use is only 50% effective. And hasn't changed in years. The esophageal sphincter is the problem. It just doesn't work. I'd love to know whether it's a mechanical or electrical. Who really knows. But it's really frustrating. I myself have been affected. At this point I have water brash. It's when your mouth over produces saliva constantly because your esophagus is swollen. It's the same response that your body uses when it's vomiting. So yeah. It's shitty that more research doesn't go into creating real solutions.
