      Dieting/ working out while working night shifts

      As the title says I'm currently working 12hr night shifts from 6pm-6am and am struggling horribly with my dieting and being able to get in a true workout routine. Was wondering if there is anyone out there that has had to convert/work with the same type of schedule. Any feedback is appreciated thank you!

      I must have just said "get it done" half a dozen times in that post..but its the truth

      Have you noticed what kai greene calls himself? "Mr getting it done" i feel it simply means, yes its hardwork, yes its a struggle, there will always be obstacles and challenges but if its what you want you will get it done regardless...

      If you want it bad enough you will make it work.

      I have a miserable struggle with it. I work 4-3 am. I cant always eat - im in in the public eye until 1 or 2. But im fighting to get it all to work lol so hang in there bro!!

      Yeah I think it's just pushing through the mental aspect. The bad part is I'll be here for 6 months straight with no days off doing 12 hour nights. I'm 2 months in and I had lost all motivation to make it to the gym/ prep my meals etc. this last week I've been getting back into it and just started up my cycle and hoping that brings my energy/desire to eat up. (I'm sure it will). Just hope I can force myself into a sleep/eating cycle . As always I appreciate the feedback though

      6 months straight is fkn rough, for me after a couple of days in my body has adjusted to getting the meals down very easily...i would deff advocate day on day off training, something like a p/p/l split..low volume high intensity, go hard for a day then the following day straight to sleep..you may just need a break how long has it been since youve taken a week off the gym? Deffertly read into training deloads, cycle your training. working that many hours dont be in the gym more than 4 days a week, you sound burnt out like you need some rest.

      i work 6pm to 6am aswell... not much more i can add to what auswest has already said... i try to keep my eating/training schedule the same as i would through the day. i find my appetite decreases during the night, but you just have to force it down. i train straight after work and i have no problem sleeping during the day. if you find you're too wrecked straight after work, try training before work. just find what suits you

      I work 7p to 7a I have found it’s all about planning and staying organized and NOT making excuses. Saying shit like “oh I did legs or back I can have a shit meal.” I mean that’s okay every once in a while but as long as ur not lazy and plan correct you will be just fine.
