The Great Rice Debate
Most of us have heard over the years that brown rice is sacrosanct and how could I argue it has always treated me right. Well as of recently I have slowly turned to eating jasmine rice in place of brown(tastes so good).. I am currently on a deficit and to be honest I see no change at all. (I actually feel as if I am peeling bf off faster tbh) I really think I am looking in too close on all of this. But I get quite obsessive over these nuances. I just would really love to hear everyone weigh in on this. I feel as if I might be doing myself an injustice.

Same as above. I love jasmine rice and white rice soo much I stopped buying brown rice. I have noticed no difference in brown/white/jasmine ect. In bread I have noticed that rye works the best for me. I was obsessed with my blood glucose monitor for a while and found that the rye gave no blood sugar spike like the wheat/whole grain/ect.

I've read where you don't absorb the available nutrients from brown rice because of the way it's digested. Jasmine is the way to go from what I've read.

I have seen responses with white rice as bloating that brown rice doesnt cause, vice versa, i have seen people not able to digest brown rice well over white rice and not fill out as well... as for me, i eat both just fine...sorry if i dont make sense today... cns fucking shot...
