Game
I live in the rural South. Normal diet is different here which can make it difficult to drop BF%. I went up mom's yesterday and what did she fix for supper? Sausage gravy, buttermilk biscuts, fried eggs (why do I love fried food) and sweet tea/ I had coffee instead. I was afraid to even try to count macros or calories. Then today my neighbor brought me sausage, bacon and pork chops to put in my freezer (he recently killed hogs). Seems everyone is against me dieting.
I recently started dieting. Cut out pork, most beef, switched to game meat. I know many of you eat tons of tuna and/or chicken. I hate tuna, in fact only fish I like is catfish fried of course. I also get tired of chicken with every meal. I find that with Deer, Rabbit and Squirrel I get variety and still drop BF%. And when you cook deer right it tastes almost like beef. I find Bear meat is to stringy and a little to much fat.
Now I just need to avoid friends and family til I reach my goal since they think everything taste better fried. Fried steak, fried pork chop, fried catfish, fried egg, fried bacon....

Deer meat is where its at! Got a freezer full brother. I'm from a small down down south too, its hard as hell to be on a diet and counting macros with all this delicious soul food waiting for me around every corner.

I'm a bacon-holic. I rarely buy meat. Family owns a beef farm and most of us hunt. Trade beef for pork. Sometimes have to buy chicken breast. Truth is I would rather have a crispy plate of bacon over most other foods.
