I love Stan's approaches! He is a smart MFer man!
Tho 2 a day training would completely crush someone with a high NEAT such as myself... alot of what he says makes sense... if your going to be a competitor or if you have a non laborous job

I agree...I just cherry pick some of the basic to intermediate ideas, like the use of salt, iodine, and some of the nutritional ideas and try them on my particular regimen.

Agreed. I know of a lot of people that think the Vertical diet is the End-All-Be-All. I definitely agree with some of the philosophies (Whole eggs, beef, etc). There is a reason those foods have been staples in bodybuilding forever. I'm currently cutting & employ intermittent fasting and I have 2-3 largeish meals per day. I try to have beef as the protein source in at least one per day and try to factor in whole eggs whenever I can. It's just difficult on the low calories I'm running right now.

He talks about applying his principles a lot....and how not everyone CAN apply them all. Talked about a nurse that works 12 hr shifts asking how she can do certain things he recommends. His answer: "Well, YOU can't.....but you should apply as many as you can." The things he talks about are for OPTIMAL performance. So, he also talks about "not majoring in the minors."
