"Carb Cycling"
This post is for all who are carb sensitive, want to build muscle and keep a low body fat percentage. Oh. All of you. Great. Here goes; I learned about "carb cycling" from a guy at the gym who has been on the cover of a major men's fitness magazine more than anyone for the past 20yrs. He's 53 now and still at it. Looking in peak physical condition all the time is his job. A man whose opinion I respect. Basically you "cycle" your carbs every 3rd, 4th or 5th day to load glycogen to you muscles. I do about 300gms of carbs every 4th day from white rice or potato's in the late afternoon around 4pm. If 300gms of carbs is too much for your mass, adjust accordingly. Throw some chicken and veggies in if you want. Keep your salt low. The rest of the week I do lean protein, protein shakes, lots of veggies, eggs, post-workout carb drinks and No added salt. I've been getting Excellent results from this. Muscles are Noticeably fuller. More ripped. More pumped. Went from a no pack to a 4 pack...going for the 6 pack...Hope this helps...Let me know. Thank you.

Hmmm. I've always done a 2 low 1 high day ratio...I wonder if itd be more beneficial to stretch the low days longer

If what you're doing is working for you, stick with it. If not, stretch those low days longer and see what happens.

Leangains is a Nutrition program that incorporates Carb/Calorie cycling. You Have "high" days on training days & lower carb/calorie days on non-training days. It seems to work best with training schedules of 3-4 days/wk.

You need salt, especially iodine. It will increase your thyroid and naturally burn fat.
