I’ve done keto the first week or two sucks and finding snacks that work my go to since I’m a truck driver is those mozzarella and salami cheese sticks at stops. Can’t say I lost muscle last time starting it again this week. Just had to keep protien and fat macros in check easier when you balance your meal. Protien shakes with almond butter and olive oil.

IF is great, combined with Keto great for a cut. Just make sure your fats are seriously high (70-80%) or you won't be in Ketosis. You need to be in Ketosis because Ketones have muscle sparing properties. If your fats are too low you won't be in Ketosis AND you won't be eating enough protein. bye bye gains.

How much muscle did you manage to put on? I struggled big time to bulk - even with the right calories, which I know sounds strange but I think it's to do with the change in Insulin sensitivity and how efficiently the body processes proteins without insulin spikes.

Does anyone use the ketosis urine strips? I wondered if that helps during Keto diet.

I believe the urine strips are to test if your in ketosis. Ketosis is a metabolic process.When the body does not have enough glucose for energy, it burns stored fats instead ; this results in a build up of acids in the body called ketones.
