Semi skip loading
Anyone do skip loading or similar methods with good success? High digestive high starchy/sugary carbs with minimal fat
So pancakes, honey, syrup, rice cakes, fruit filling, rice krispie treats, low fat muffins, dried fruit, pop tarts, granola and fruit bars, cerals(maybe ones from oats, wheat, corn) basically low fat.
Any input? Yes, I'm cutting lol

Basically a refeed with high carbs, low fats and moderate protein... is that what you’re referring to?

Ya, but carbs you wouldn't eat on a regular basis

Prime, I am lost brother. Isn’t this what we do when we are dieting and need a carb up. At least this is what I do I just never heard it called Skip loading... I call it carb loading and when I am dieting out of 7 days a week I do it 2.

It’s no different then any other refeed or high carb day. I don’t know the specifics but I believe it’s high carb low fat, reduced protein.
If implemented correctly it works

Yep..
its Ken Hill’s approach to a refeed..
a window of sugar, usually while running insulin, low to nil fats and
medium amounts of proteins..
it works.. and its fun..
but to each his own..

I haven’t heard of the term either but it’s the same thing Bash. Just a little more sugary carb based to get more of an insulin spike

Skip recommends really harsh depletion throughout the week then pretty much a free for all for a certain amount of hours to review the metabolism back up. Check out Advicesradios.com he's on blood sweat and gear

I know you want foods that digest well, but I'm not sure how they will lol. What foods do you guys use? Any specific cerals? Rather get something I loved when I was a kid, but maybe get something with rice or oat based. Appreciate your input!
