      Cutting / prep advise

      Maybe this is better posted here... sorry for double post. Anyways...

      A little background info - as a natty, I went from morbidly obese, to doing a natty mens physique competition at 140 lbs. I had a coach and it took a me almost of year of consistent dieting. Fast forward 3 years later, here I am trying to cut weight / possibly into a prep. The difference is, I am now on trt.. I have been trying for the last 8 weeks but have not made much progress. The 8-12 weeks before that, I was slowly dropping carbs, but the last 8ish or so weeks I would consider myself in a deficit...

      Basically, I have had to drop calories so much to try to get progress that I am eating NOTHING right now, compared to what I was eating during prep as a natural, and don't feel like I am losing fat.. the scale is going UP. I recently (1 wk ago) uped my test from my TRT dose because I wanted to become "supratherapetuic".

      Even if I am gaining muscle from TRT dose test.. don't you think the fat lass should supersede the muscle gain and the scale should be going down? I feel like I have been stuck at 170lbs forever..

      I guess I really don't know how to go about prep when on gear..

      You've stalled eat a cheat meal. That should get you going again. Are you doing any cardio? If not start low intensity steady state cardio fasted on empty stomach. Like on a treadmill walk at a pace of 120 bpm start out at 20 minutes 7 days a week after the 1st week add 5 minutes 2nd week 5 more minutes 3rd week 5 more minutes work your way up to 1hr a day 7 days a week split it up two 30 minute sessions per day. See if that helps.

      Last couple of weeks I really cut the calories and started doing 15min uphill walk on a treadmill 5 days a week.

      Currently doing carb cycling. Fats at 40, protein at 200, and carbs 50g on low, 150g on moderate, and 350 on high/refeed days. Low days 2x a week, moderate days 3x, and refeed 2x...I considered my refeeds/high days as "cheat days".

      This week, I'm going to up the cardio like you suggested.. and switch my low days to 3 times a week, and drop moderate days to 130 I think and see how that goes...

      I guess I am just confused because when I did this naturally, I was able to lose 70+lbs doing 170c/170p/40f five times a week, with two 300c/170p/40f two days.. and the weight came off so easily... Thought with the addition of gear and the added LBM I put on the last few years it should even be easier... unless i screwed up my metabolism yo-yo dieting since my show + getting old...

      5'7, weighed 169.8 this AM, if I were to guess bf I would say around 13-15%, definitely not anything more than 15%, more likely less.

      I just started trt at 250 of test cyp a week 8 weeks ago. Last week I added another 150 of test cyp from a sponsor on top of that with 50mg of anavar.

      So there are different ways to carb cycle. It depends on the persons body. I just talked to an ifbb pro coach this past week. This is what he does and says its proof, it works

      3 days of 100g of carb
      4th day is refeed day. Cut protein in half and double your carbs in body weight.

      Example: 200lb guy eat 300g protein. 400g carbs and 150g protein that day. He said if your really hungry you can even do 2.5-3 times in carbs that day. I would advise double your body weight and see how it goes first time.

      He said as closer the show gets he goes down to 50g for 3 days, then refeed on 4th day. If you try this lmk how it goes

      Remember, refeeds are suppose to have little fat
