Counting macros is a no brainer. Cals in cals out is okay if you’re a normal person just trying to cut some weight. For building a physique, you need to make sure you get enough protein and the right carbs at the right time. I’d say most guys here take it a bit further and track a fair amount of their micronutrients as well.

First of all it drives me nuts when people say they don’t count calories but count macros... it’s the same fucking thing put it this way would you spend money in moderation but not check your bank account ?

I’m looking for a good macros and cheese recipe. Trying to build up my triceratops and quadrasuarus muscles doing a refereed-recomposes during my Bridge between cruise and blast. Stacking the slin and drol.

I dont specifically count either.
I do portion sizes. I dont weigh shit anymore if im being honest.
Im not competing just trying to be the strongest I can be while balancing my career and being a single dad.
I watch carbs and do more cardio if I'm cutting but still dont count shit.
