      The Game Changers- any bro’s cycling and vegan?

      Curious to see if any bro’s seen this movie, caught while Netflixing and chilling. Had me wandering if anyone has tried going vegan and on cycle?!

      Yes. I saw it. Very interesting. We have a couple vegan bodybuilders on BOP. Cmack is one of them,{he may chime in}.

      The show was cool at first but then started pushing Veganism and some pseudoscience. Very Bias and Anti-Meat. I’ve done a lot of research w clients and family members who are Vegan. The workout/Strongman parts were a very small part of it...to get you to watch!

      **Note: THERE ARE MANY INCREDIBLE VEGAN BODYBUILDERS!! Don’t want you to think I’m anti-vegan because my nieces, mom, and cousins are Vegan and Vegetarian.

      Here is how I look at it...
      Vegetarianism: They will eat fish etc but no steak, chicken etc so they are getting complete proteins...and eating based on human anatomy and biochemistry.

      Veganism: More of a philosophical way or eating. Which is ok, nothing against that but here’s the issue:
      NO complete proteins no matter what some skinny hemp pants wearing guru tells you.
      Animals are alive because they have emotions and a heart. Shallow beliefs shaker since vegans are more “spiritual.” There is tons of research that plants respond to temp, emotions and more.
      On my experience most, not all vegans are very aggressive about their philosophy and shameful to others.
      Most vegans I know have kids and try to feed them vegan! Bad idea!!! The kids end up with low energy, rotting teeth and more in my experience.
      Human anatomy and biochemistry. Physiology trumps philosophy...our digestive system produces HCL for example. Why? To break down fence complete proteins. You don’t eat them and you down regulate HCL production. This is why a ton of vegans get GERD. As well HCL is a huge part of your immune system so your increasing your susceptibility to infections.

      For me health goes beyond weight loss, weight gain and muscles. That doesn’t equate to health.

      Health is about how you live in balance with nature. Nature being externally and internally...physiological balance.

      Just some thoughts.

      I personally have only a couple rules that I try to follow diet wise. I love almost all food! 90-95% of the time, I cook my own food.
      1. No enriched flour
      2.No high fructose corn syrup
      3.Antibiotic free meats
      4.Fresh or Frozen fruits/vegetables only
      5.No Alcohol or Soda Pop

      This being said, I do cheat and take supplements, which are processed. But most of the time I am getting, meats, eggs, dairy items, fresh fruit and vegetables. The only organic thing I buy is corn and tomatoes.

      When I cheat. I go full on cheat, but I make the food.
