I feel I should post this here to include everyone who has or potentially has heart problems that they need to avoid ephedrine. So, we all know ephedrine works, but there are potential dangers if you have an undiagnosed heart disease, high blood pressure, a heart murmur, or other common conditions, So BE CAREFUL WITH IT AND KNOW THE RISKS!

This isn't meant as a scare tactic to scare people away from ephedrine, just as a warning or BOLO (be on the look out) for this and possibility take these precautions, especially the relative cheap blood test and EKG from your GP/IM doctor. The reason I'm posting this is that you can have CVD and not even know it. Heart disease is the NUMBER ONE cause of death in the US.

You should also get a standard EKG and even consider an echocardiogram that a cardiologist can perform to check your heart for defects, and other problems that wouldn't be noticed by a standard EKG. Further, you may want to consider an Carotid ultrasound to check for clogged veins and arteries around your heart.
