Don't overlook test prop as a nice option as well. It is easy to get. Easy to measure and titrate. Has a very short half life so sides, if any, can easily be controlled. And at doses anywhere from 25-50mg a week, very inexpensive. My wife tried Var for 6 wks (2.5mg/day x2wks then up to 5mg/day) and thought it was ok. But as a former athlete herself was not satisfied. Then after some time off tried test prop at 30mg once a week, eventually bumping her up to 50mg/wk for a total of 10 weeks. The diff was amazing. Immediate increase in energy level and her sex drive shot through the roof! Her workouts got super intense and she was making gains every time she walked into the gym. She did get a little acne on her upper back and some slight clitoral enlargement. Both of which went away in less than a week and a half after stopping.

After seeing her gains there were over a dozen women at her gym that were using the prop. Most we're pinning just once a week at 50mg/week. The prop is so thin that we were pushing it through 29g 1 1/2 needles with no problem. Something the women liked because it made the injections virtually painless. And no one was having any sides to speak of except the acne. No one wanted to stop their gear. And none of the boyfriends/husbands wanted them to stop either!
