I think Wife has low t what to do?

My wife (38 5’5” 150lbs and caries it well). recently got her hormones checked. She has been complaining of being tired all the time and sleeps 8-9 hrs. She has also been gaining 1-2lbs a month for years. Her test levels were 16. I asked her doc about low t in women and she told me her levels were fine? from what I read women who were below 25 pre meno or 20 post menopause were low. Also her sex drive has been noticeably low. I know 2 kids and work will do that to. As does wedding cake. But she has commented tha she notices she “not in the mood as much” I’ve had her putting on dhea cream 2x a day. I think it’s helping but not sure. What are the best way to increase her test levels? I don’t think she will do injections don’t really want to ask. Although I think she would be open to anything else. Also considering Clen t3 to help with weight loss but don’t know enough about the sides yet and don’t want to do Anything to harm her. Besides test alone should help. What about something like Androstenedione? Anavar?
almost forgot to mention her cycle has been messed up sense Stop birth control a year ago. She get her period every 2 weeks for about a week. Her gyno has put her back on a progesterone birth control for this. She is going back after 3 months because it hasn’t worked. Any advice on this would be appreciated too.

She has low Testosterone levels which lead to low estrogen and low DHT . If she has under 20ngdl of TT Level then shes gonna be tired most of the time as well as having low libido and intercourse can be painful for her due to less vaginal lubrication . Id also like to know her FSH and LH levels as well as her Progesterone .

Testosterone therapy works incredibly well for females as they are very Androgen Sensitive, so as little as 10 mgs weekly of a Test Cyp/Enanth injection will boost her estrogen levels and her DHT too , but she can also get a prescription for a combo of Testosterone/Estrogen topical cream .

Also check her Thyroid markers : TSH , T3 and T4 as these are a major metabolic player .

Shouldnt be difficult to fix / reset and quicker than you think with blood test results. Post those results when you get them and ill help you figure doses, frequency , etc...

Try Yohimbe. Yes it works for women too and also increases weight loss. Cheap and easy to get too. my wife uses it.

Does Yohimbe Herb Help To Boost Female Sex Drive?

      Written by Michael Wight

      What Is Yohimbe?

Yohimbe is a plant bark product of an evergreen tree found in some parts of West Africa. This product has 15 other names. It has diverse usage including working as an aphrodisiac with sexual arousing properties.
It is an antidepressant and a stimulant under different prescriptions. Yohimbine is the main bark extract of Yohimbe, which is used to manufacture its products. This product has a large publication and is well researched across different disciplines such as the sexual enhancement industry and the general medical industry.
Yohimbe is commonly available as herb but has found its way into the medical platform and is now a prescribed medicine. Yohimbe extract are found in many dietary supplements aimed at increasing sexual drive and treating sexual dysfunctions.
How Yohimbe As An Ingredient Works?

Yohimbe works as an aphrodisiac for better sexual performance. Its functions are to increase sexual appetite and elevate sexual drive. When the product is consumed, it increases blood flow to the genital system. Engorged blood veins in the genital area are highly sensitive.
A slight pressure applied on this area is enough to kick start a full sexual response cycle. In addition, Yohimbe is known to activate hormones related to sexual activity. These hormones once activated, remain high. This gives a long term effect in sexual moods. Yohimbe dosage depends on the product at hand.
Some products have high concentrations while others have low concentrations. However, the recommended dosage for sexual performance is 15-30 mg per day.
Can Yohimbe Ingredient Boost Women’s Sex Drive?

Yohimbe herb will increase your sex drive. That is what it does and what it will do when you use it. It has been used for ages and now is available as medicine that treats libido related problems in women. In sexually related treatment, Yohimbe increases or arouses sexual excitement. It increases libido and increases sexual appetite.
This functionality guarantees improved sex drive. Yohimbe works by increasing blood flow to the vagina. High supply of blood flow to the genitals makes the genital veins and nerves porous. This increases the sensitivity in the genital areas.
A slight stimulation elevates sexual appetite and makes a woman want sex immediately. Increased sexual appetite, high sexual drive and increased libido are some of the events that guarantee satisfied sex. This herb will boost your sex drive.
It is scientifically proven let alone its traditional use as an aphrodisiac. Additionally, Yohimbe is an ingredient you will find in almost 90% of all female sexual enhancement supplements.
How It Will Help To Improve Women’s Sex Drive?

Yohimbe is popular for its aphrodisiac properties. To some extent, Yohimbe is available as a prescription medicine for treating sexual dysfunction in both males and females under Erex, Testomar, Yocon, Yohimar and Yohimbe brand names.
In men, this product treats impotence and rectifies orgasmic dysfunctions. In women, the product treats hypoactive sexual desire disorder or reduced libido. The main use of Yohimbe in women is treating anorgasmia.
Taking a dose 1-2 hours before sex gives a woman a higher sexual appetite with increased libido. If you don’t experience orgasm or have a reduced sex drive, Yohimbe will treat the problem.
      Is Yohimbe Safe or Not?

Yohimbe is an herbal product. It has been in use for centuries and the usage continues and even increases. This product is effective in its functionality. Claims that Yohimbe is unsafe come from its excessive usage. The product should be used as prescribed by a physician.
Since this product is effective and seems to work, small quantities are recommended. Extra or extreme and high dosages are related with several side effects. Yohimbe requires a consumer with perfect health and without heart related problems.
Otherwise, since it increases blood flow, people with heart related problems will worsen their condition if they use Yohimbe. This ingredient is widely researched and widely publicized. Therefore, its safety is documented.
If it was not a safe product, it would not be so widely. Nevertheless, pregnant wand lactating women, as always, are advised to consult their physician before taking this kind of medication.
      Conclusion

Yohimbe is known to treat sexual problems. It is an effective product that has been in traditional use to treat sexual related problems in both males and female. Nearly all herbal female sexual enhancement products contain this ingredient.
The formulation and concentration in these supplements matter because in high concentration, a sexual enhancement supplement with Yohimbe is effective 1-2 hours before sex. Yohimbe is ideal for any age and any race. The only consideration to take this supplement is if you want a high sex drive or not.
Otherwise, the product can help you reach your dream orgasms, have a satisfied sexual experience and enjoy sexual intercourse. Use Yohimbe as prescribed and avoid excessive dosage.

      Hi
My wife is on HRT, post menopausal. The part of life a woman is in is important in the way the three main hormones are dosed, as in timing.

We started ourselves with Test C, with seemingly great results to start with. After a while we realised it was way more complicated that a man, so she went to a doctor.
The doctors were great and sorted the Progesterone and E by prescription but indicated the injections were the best way so we should keep that up, however the dose was too high.
So we reduced and went to bi weekly but the bloods stayed high.
We decided to go to Test P and back to once a week. The levels reduced a lot after a couple of weeks, so we increased the dose and it got a little cyclic.
We then went back to biweekly and have been getting better blood results.(still a little cyclic but seems fine)
Im not sure of all these other types of AAS but our idea is use bio- identical hormones (all three) and get the three levels back in the normal range, that way your wife will improve if the issue is hormone imbalance.
You should help by logging her doses and intervals, record her comments and feelings, make sure its consistent.
To start with get blood tests often.
Our relationship has blossomed as we are both on HRT, sex life is better, we enjoy each others humour and company more, and have more resistance to stress.

Long esters are no good for women, if you dose too high you want it to clear as quickly as possible. Short esters more frequent doses.
Also run a half-life spreadsheet and record everything.

Chemical birth control is no good brother. Not healthy. I knew a 25 year old girl who lost half her teeth to Depo. Others who's cycles are permanently fxxked. See what you can do to get her off those and use physical methods. Hormones are hormones. I know birth control is socially acceptable and in pill form but its no diff than abusing AAS for extended periods of time in crazy amounts... Has consequences. Fotunately, if she gets off them and gets proper support and nutrition her body will eventually reset itself... Ive seen that personally too.

She needs blood work. Total testosterone, TSH/Free T4/Free T3 to start with.

Women have about 10% the serum levels that men do. So the average healthy female level is about 50 ng/dL (10% of the average male's 500 ng/dL). It can vary depending on genetics, menstrual cycle phase, lifestyle, etc.

A female HRT dose of injectable testosterone would be anywhere from 10-20 mg per week (Again that's 10% of the male HRT dose). The goal is the bring up total testosterone, many HRT docs will bring women up as high as 150 ng/dL. Side effect sensitivity and virilization is genetic, some women can blast high doses and can stay feminine and other women are manly without touching a drop of AAS.

Benefits of female testosterone replacement therapy include increased sex drive, energy, well-being and confidence. Creams and pellets work too, bad there are more draw back.

Creams can get on kids and have to be applied daily, sometimes absorption is poor and titrating dose is not as easy as changing testosterone cyp dosage on the fly. Pellets require an in office procedure and if the dose is too high, you are stuck with the pellets or have to get them removed, again, a literal pain in the ass. Injections are the cheapest and most convenient. Creams tend to convert to DHT more due to higher levels of 5-alpha reductase on the skin

Hormonal birth control is a common cause of female low testosterone and it's been linked to long-term SHBG increases. Lower libido is one of the most common side effects as well weight gain and mood swings.
