Thread: Adrian Peterson indicted on charges of injury to a child

I wish the public loved me enough when I was a little guy to get this much attention when I got my ass whooped every which direction, and by many inanimate objects around my house and yard. My parents would be locked up for years with how PC the United States has become. I don't agree with what Adrian Peterson did, but even spanking your kid period is looked at as child abuse and look at how the generations are turning out compared to prior generations. Crime rate is the highest its ever been, teen pregnancy is now a fad embraced by MTV, reality tv has taken over cable television, teenage girls wear next to nothing in public, explicit talk is heard on national television as well as things of explicit nature able to be viewed by children, video games have taken over kids minds, the list goes on and on and on. I'm not sure why everyone is so persistent on making things better when there is a repercussion to everything that has quote on quote made our society better off. I'm not so sure that is actually the case. I believe that morals and manners are almost a forgotten idea and respect for grown ups has dwindled to a select few well mannered kids on your neighborhood block who are probably raised by parents that believe that a nice little spanking is deserved every once in a while as a reminder. There is a fine line with this subject, but my point is that the media controls what we all believe and what the media wants us to believe is all bullshit. I wish people would formulate their own opinions for themselves rather then say what they think other people would agree with. I am a product of so called child abuse and I think I turned out ok. I don't beat my kid nor do I hit my wife and I don't have any anger issues related to that. I do have PTSD from the military, but that is an entirely different issue.
